Holton Wilkerson
Holton Wilkerson graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Journalism & Mass Communication. As a real estate investment broker he has transacted millions of dollars in investment properties.
He also managed the marketing and leasing efforts of over 400,000 square feet of shopping centers. Utilizing his brokerage and leasing knowledge, Wilkerson assisted in the startup of a North Carolina-based real estate investment firm focused on the underwriting of investments in shopping centers and apartment complexes throughout the Southeast.
Along with Darden, Wilkerson managed the startup and initial planning for Arbor Equity.
Wilkerson is a North Carolina licensed real estate broker and handles all brokerage duties for Arbor Equity in addition to his daily management and operations responsibilities.
Mathias Linden
Mathias Linden graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in Economics. At UNC, he served as an officer of the Undergraduate Honor Court, the country’s oldest student-run judicial system.
Linden is primarily responsible for financial analysis, due diligence, and asset management. Prior to joining Arbor Equity in 2006, Linden worked in Atlanta, Georgia for Asset Management Advisors, a Multi-Family Office, where his team was responsible managing $500 million for twenty client families. Previously, he was First Vice President of Investments in the Georgia Wealth Management Group of Wachovia Securities.
Linden is a Certified Financial Planner™ and a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst.
Tom Darden, III
Tom Darden graduated cum laude from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill with a BA in English with Honors. Subsequently, he worked as a development consultant in Washington, DC, where he was responsible for conducting due diligence and marketing efforts for a former manufacturing and mining site located near Beltsville, Maryland. The mine was the site of the discovery of the largest dinosaur bone unearthed on the east coast of North America, and Darden focused efforts on reclaiming the mine while establishing a conservation easement in order to preserve the archeologically significant site.
In 2003, he took a job with a startup wireless telecommunications firm in Raleigh, NC, where he helped grow the company from five employees to over twenty-five in two years and was promoted to VP of Marketing. Having experienced a business startup, Darden left in 2005 to found Arbor Equity.
